3. On Edit Plan Settings screen, click on Change Advanced Power Settings Link.

3. Unhide Lid Open Action in Windows 10
If the Lid Open Action is not available on your Laptop, it is likely that this option might be hidden on your computer.
1. Right-click on Start button and click on Command Prompt (Admin) option.
2. In the command prompt screen, type powercfg -attributes SUB_BUTTONS 99ff10e7-23b1-4c07-a9d1-5c3206d741b4 -ATTRIB_HIDE and press the Enter button on the keyboard of your laptop.

But when I close the lid, well it doesn't do NOTHING. To elaborate, software sided, it's all the same when I open the lid back again. But when I'm using the java robot class (for mouse movement) this actually stops functioning as it should. I think this has to do with the screen turning black at the point the lid is closed.
